Xpress 2D Knowledge and Skills Goals

- Setup and leveling Leica laser—Stressing physical stability
- Turn on both toolbars in Measure Manager and establish Laser connection
- Settings for Automated Countertop
- Set X frame of reference
- X,X-Y for full backsplashes, shower walls, fireplaces, etc.
- X Axis repositioning for same-page additional room
- Countertop
- Collect data points in proper order (first OE, Clockwise)
- Collect data points in proper spacing (2-3 inches from corners; 2 pts OE; 3 or more pts W)
- Counter templating perimeter
- Using proxy surfaces and edge markers for data points
- Tips and Typical errors to avoid (watching point counter; 1-2 inches from surface edges; long counters w/cutouts, +)
- Dynamic editing exceptions to automated settings parameters
- Exception editing; notes
